Best Cyberpunk Mods for Your Play Style
Compare Cyberpunk mods by purpose, dependencies and author support. Choose a framework, graphics preset, wardrobe tool, cyberware expansion or multiplayer test.
Updated on
The best Cyberpunk mods for you depend on what you want to change and which releases support your game. Start with one goal, check the author’s requirements, and add only the frameworks it needs.
This comparison groups identifiable author projects by purpose. It is an editorial selection, not a ranking by invented scores or download counts. Source review checks the linked documentation; it does not certify an in-game test.

Everyday life and console choices
For everyday interactions, compare Night City Interactions, Immersive Rippers and Idle Anywhere. For a narrow change, consider Scannable Stash, Borg Malorian Restored or Actually Black Hair Color. Check prerequisites and activation on each detail page.
Small PC starter routes
For a focused start, use the inventory search and waiting route or the clothing shopping and wardrobe route. Each separates required frameworks from optional additions and gives you a visible check after installation. For vehicle purchases, see Virtual Car Dealer.
Start with the requirements
CET, ArchiveXL and TweakXL serve different purposes. A mod requiring one does not automatically require all three. Follow the specific dependency list, including RED4ext, redscript or Codeware when listed.

Choose a change you can check
- Graphics: Ultra+ offers rendering controls. Compare the same location, time and settings on your hardware. No universal FPS improvement is promised here.
- Builds: Cyberware-EX is an option for expanded implant combinations. Check its prerequisites and keep a clean save.
- Outfits: Equipment-EX adds outfit management. Its checked README describes an older game patch, so confirm the release you plan to use.
- Exploration: Let There Be Flight adds flight controls. Check release support before treating the author preview as proof that it works on your patch.
- Settings: Native Settings UI supports menus for participating CET mods; it does not configure every installed mod.
- Multiplayer: CyberMP has a separate client and tester-access requirements. Check official eligibility first.
PC or console?
The comparison includes both PC projects and specific mod.io releases. Check the platform column before choosing. PS5 and Xbox players can start with the console recommendations, while the immersion starter guide connects everyday interactions with their activation checks.
Keep a reversible setup
Back up saves, record installed files and launch after each change. If a new mod stops the game from starting, use the crash recovery checklist before installing more.
How these choices are maintained
Each directory entry links to the author source and states what was checked. Compatibility labels describe that documentation, not a site benchmark. Read our editorial standards and report an outdated requirement with the mod name, source link, game patch and release version.
