What changes
- Names for missing display weapons
- Scanner descriptions for collected weapons
Using it in your game
Activate DQC and this mod at H10, then scan V’s apartment weapon display. An empty display position should name its missing weapon.
Scan positions may not exactly follow weapon outlines. If a named display entity is missing, check activation before treating the scanner hitbox as the only problem.
Before you choose
The description requires DQC even though the platform’s dependency panel is empty. Scan hitboxes may not precisely match weapon outlines.
Requirements
- Deceptious Quest Core
Shared quest activation for mods that require DQC. Visit V’s H10 apartment after adding a dependent mod.
Open this mod and its tracked prerequisites together. External runtimes still need your confirmation.
Open the dependency plan →Use the in-game Mods menu for these platform releases. A listing on mod.io is not a guarantee that a modded save is compatible with every update.
Install in game
- Keep a manual save made before using mods. Open Mods in the game’s main menu and connect your CD PROJEKT RED account to mod.io.
- Find this exact title and author. Confirm a release for your platform. Install its listed prerequisites first, then select Install for this mod.
- Wait for the download, return to the main menu and confirm that the mod is enabled. Follow any restart prompt.
- Install DQC and Scannable Stash, then leave and return to H10. Open the scanner at an apartment weapon display.
How to check the result
An empty display slot should identify the missing weapon. Check activation before diagnosing missing Hammer, Nehan or Byakko display entities.
Try this check before adding another mod, so a failure points to the change you just made.
Update or roll back
Keep your pre-mod save. Read the author’s update or removal notes before changing an ongoing playthrough. If a dependent mod uses DQC, retain DQC until its dependants are removed. Disabling a mod does not guarantee that an existing save returns to an unmodded state.
