What changes
- Virtual stores for separately installed content
- Clothing previews while shopping
Using it in your game
Install a compatible virtual store separately, then open that store to inspect its catalogue and clothing previews. The base framework does not include every shop or item pack.
An empty Atelier tab may mean that no store is installed. Keep optional components, such as Browser Extension or Delivery, separate from the base requirements.
Before you choose
No stores are bundled. A shop entry, its clothing assets and wardrobe management are separate pieces. Browser Extension and Virtual Atelier Delivery are optional.
Requirements
- ArchiveXL
Loads additional resources so custom assets can be added alongside original game content.
- Codeware
A shared library for participating redscript and CET mods, including UI and game-system extensions.
- Mod Settings
Adds a settings page that participating redscript mods can configure. Separate from CET’s Native Settings UI.
- RED4ext
Loads native plugins used by frameworks such as ArchiveXL and Codeware. REDmod is a separate tool.
- redscript
Compiles script mods at game startup. A compile error needs a script-level diagnosis, not another framework installed at random.
Open this mod and its tracked prerequisites together. External runtimes still need your confirmation.

- Back up your saves and note the game patch shown in the main menu. Keep the downloaded archive’s installed-file list.
- Install the listed requirements, then the author’s main Virtual Atelier archive.
- Choose one author-published store and install its required clothing files. Verify that its release supports your setup.
- Open the store from V’s apartment computer and check its catalog.
How to check the result
Check a separately installed store for its expected items. An empty Atelier tab can mean no store has been installed.
Try this check before adding another mod, so a failure points to the change you just made.
Update or roll back
Read the author’s removal instructions for Virtual Atelier and installed shops. Preserve a pre-mod save and retain frameworks used by other content.
Questions about Virtual Atelier
Why is the Atelier tab empty?
The framework does not bundle stores. Install a compatible store and its required item assets, then check again.
Does Virtual Atelier replace Equipment-EX?
They serve different stages: Atelier supports shopping and previews; Equipment-EX manages outfits. Check each project’s requirements separately.
