Night City Immersion Mods

Build a small Cyberpunk 2077 immersion setup with mod.io releases. Compare everyday interactions, prerequisites and the first thing to check after installation.

Updated on

Start with one everyday interaction you want to add, check its platform release, and verify that it activates before adding another. This route connects a few mod.io projects without asking you to install every PC framework.

The selections below are based on author descriptions and platform files reviewed on 26 October 2026. This is an editorial starter route, not a tested modpack or a guarantee that every combination works. Keep a manual save from before using mods.

Each detail page links the author’s previews, release notes and specific setup. Use those to decide whether the change suits your playthrough. For combat, appearance and interface choices, open the console recommendations.

Keep the platform route straight

On PS5 and Xbox, use the game’s Mods menu. Confirm a file for your exact console rather than assuming every project by an author supports it. The console installation guide covers account linking and enabling a mod.

On PC, use the instructions for the edition you selected. A mod.io release and a Nexus release can differ in dependencies and installation. Installing CET, RED4ext or ArchiveXL simply because another PC guide mentions them is not a substitute for reading this edition’s requirements.

Activate before adding more

DQC-dependent content needs a return visit to V’s H10 apartment after installation. Night City Interactions has its own H10 startup check. The DQC detail page and NCI detail page separate the two cases.

Use this small sequence for each change:

  1. Note the title, author, platform and selected release.
  2. Install the listed prerequisite, if any, then the chosen mod.
  3. Confirm the mod is enabled and perform its activation step.
  4. Check the visible result described on its detail page.
  5. Record what worked before installing the next change.

A useful first result is something you can deliberately repeat. Do not use “the game launched” as your only check: a mod can be enabled without its activity being active.

When nothing happens

Installed and enabled, but no new activity?

Compare the exact title and author with the linked listing. Revisit the activation and success-check sections on its detail page. Check the save’s location and the mod’s conditions before reinstalling everything.

A prerequisite is missing from the platform’s dependency panel?

Read the description as well. Scannable Stash explicitly requires DQC even though the checked dependency panel is empty. The Scannable Stash setup records this discrepancy.

The change worked before the latest game update?

Compare your installed release with the author’s latest notes. Keep a list of changes and avoid repeatedly saving over your pre-mod save while diagnosing the problem. Report a reproducible issue with the game patch, platform, mod release and symptom.

Add variety deliberately

A small setup makes it easier to understand which change caused a problem. Once your first interaction works, choose the next addition for a different purpose. Avoid treating this page as an instruction to install the entire table.

For an appearance change, Actually Black Hair Color has a narrow replacement scope. For a clearer interface, Better Armor Tooltip covers console releases. These can be considered separately from the immersion route.

For PC inventory search and a visible-world waiting widget, follow the separate small QoL setup. These PC archives use a different route from the in-game mod.io releases above.

Keep a route back

Read removal instructions before changing an ongoing playthrough. Retain a shared prerequisite while installed content still needs it. Disabling mods does not establish that a modified save is clean; console achievement and save considerations are explained in the save guide.

Sources and review method

The individual entries link each author’s description and platform files. For the installation route, see CDPR’s modding instructions. Read our editorial standards for the difference between source review and an in-game test, or send a correction with a specific source.
