Using it in your game
Activate the DQC-dependent mod at H10 first. Then stand still, out of combat, with empty hands and the scanner off before using Sprint to open the idle menu.
Sprint closes the menu again, while movement stops looping smoking. Food and drink effects depend on having matching inventory items available.

Install in game
- Keep a manual save made before using mods. Open Mods in the game’s main menu and connect your CD PROJEKT RED account to mod.io.
- Find this exact title and author. Confirm a release for your platform. Install its listed prerequisites first, then select Install for this mod.
- Wait for the download, return to the main menu and confirm that the mod is enabled. Follow any restart prompt.
- Install DQC, then this mod. Visit H10 to activate it. Stand still with empty hands outside combat and press the Sprint input to open the menu.
How to check the result
Open the idle menu with Sprint. Movement stops the looping smoking animation.
Try this check before adding another mod, so a failure points to the change you just made.
Update or roll back
Keep your pre-mod save. Read the author’s update or removal notes before changing an ongoing playthrough. If a dependent mod uses DQC, retain DQC until its dependants are removed. Disabling a mod does not guarantee that an existing save returns to an unmodded state.
