How the mod compatibility checker works
1. Select your mods
Every mod in the selector comes from the directory, with its requirements taken from the author’s documentation.
2. Read the gaps
The checker adds up what your mods need, then separates required mods you have not selected from frameworks you install yourself.
3. Follow the order
Install requirements first, launch after each step and finish with your chosen mods.
What the checker covers
Covers
- Which frameworks each listed mod needs, as its author documents them
- Required mods that are missing from your selection
- A suggested order: requirements before the mods that use them
- The target patch and recorded version constraints of reviewed releases, with unknown evidence kept separate
Does not cover
- Your game folder. It never reads or scans installed files
- Installed versions, load order or every possible conflict
- A guarantee that a release works in your game. The release check describes author evidence, not an in-game test

Compatibility checker questions
What the checker reads, what it leaves out and what to do next.
What is a Cyberpunk mod compatibility checker?
A tool that compares the mods you plan to install with the requirements their authors document, so you find a missing framework before the game fails to launch.
Does the checker scan my game folder?
No. It works only from the mods you tick, runs in your browser and never reads or uploads installed files.
Do I need CET, ArchiveXL and TweakXL for every mod?
No. A mod that needs one of them does not automatically need all three. Follow the dependency list for the mods you chose.
What if my mod is not in the list?
Open its author page and compare the requirements by hand. You can also send us the mod name and source to consider for the directory.
Contact usIn what order should I install frameworks and mods?
Install what a mod needs before the mod itself, and launch the game after each step so a failure points at the last change.
Read the install guideWhat if the game will not launch after I install them?
Move the mod-added files aside, test a clean launch and restore things one at a time.
Follow the recovery checklistReady to check your mod setup?
Choose your mods, find missing requirements and follow the suggested install order.
